Celebrating 10 Years of Cliburn Sessions!

This concert celebrates 10 years of Cliburn Sessions! Anderson & Roe performed at the very first Cliburn Sessions concert a decade ago, launching an innovative concert series that brought a classically alternative music scene to Fort Worth. The decade that followed has seen magic: classical music’s top international stars playing Fort Worth’s best clubs, venturing outside of the normal concert environment, and expanding and connecting with audiences in a new, meaningful way. Join us as we celebrate 10 years of great music at Fort Brewery with the artists who helped launch this series.

“There is an overriding joy in their music-making. Couple that with incredible technical abilities, ensemble second to none, and… a true sense of theatrical entertainment, and you have a positive look at the future of classical music performance.”
— American Record Guide

Known for their adrenalized performances, original compositions, and notorious music videos, Greg Anderson and Elizabeth Joy Roe are revolutionizing the piano duo experience. Described as “the most dynamic duo of this generation” (San Francisco Classical Voice), “rock stars of the classical music world” (Miami Herald), and “the very model of complete 21st-century musicians” (The Washington Post), the Anderson & Roe Piano Duo just celebrated 20 years of doing their part to make classical music a relevant and powerful force around the world. Their five critically acclaimed albums have spent dozens of weeks at the top of the Billboard Classical Charts, while their Emmy-nominated, self-produced music videos have been viewed by millions on YouTube and at international film festivals. They’ve toured extensively worldwide as recitalists and orchestral soloists; appeared on NPR, MTV, PBS, and the BBC; presented at numerous international leader symposiums; and served as hosts of From the Top.

And they’re absolute Cliburn Family favorites, as concert artists and as on-air webcast hosts for three Cliburn competitions. They’ll be back here for two energetic, unforgettable nights this season.
