Competitions & Cliburn at the Kimbell
- These are typically a little dressier. Business casual is a safe bet.
- Don't be surprised if you see some tuxedos and long gowns at Competition Final Round concerts and Award Ceremonies.
Cliburn Sessions
- Cliburn Sessions are casual concerts. Wear what you might for a night out in the Stockyards.
Family Concerts & Free Events
- No need to dress up. Keep it casual and enjoy the music!
Competitions
- Competitions are a little stricter. Late seating only takes place once a competitor has finished their performance. An usher will help you find your seat once the competitor has left the stage.
Cliburn at the Kimbell & Cliburn Sessions
- If you arrive late, you'll be asked to wait until a performer finishes a piece to take your seat. An usher or Cliburn staff member will show you to your seat between pieces.
Unsure when to clap? You can always play it safe and wait for people around you to start clapping and join in.
Traditionally, there is no applause between movements of larger works or within a series of pieces.
