Cliburn Family Concerts provide family-friendly musical experiences aimed at emphasizing themes of wonder, discovery, and exploration. These interactive concerts bring the magic of music and imagination to some of Fort Worth's most engaging venues, featuring encounters with a troupe of animals at the Fort Worth Zoo, a celebration of the holidays with a beloved classic at the Fort Worth Stockyards, and a musical voyage into outer space at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History.

    The Cliburn brings Saint-Saëns’ humorous suite, The Carnival of the Animals, to life like never before with the help of the Fort Worth Zoo's ambassador animals in their outdoor amphitheater. 

    The Fort Worth Zoo is home to 7,000 native and exotic animals. It has been named as a top zoo in the nation by Family Life magazine, the Los Angeles Times and USA Today, as well as one of the top zoos in the South by Southern Living Reader's Choice Awards

  • The Cliburn presents the Polar Express in the Fort Worth Stockyards

    All aboard the Polar Express! Celebrate the wonder and spirit of the holidays with the Cliburn in the heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards as we travel to the North Pole to visit Santa’s home. This one-of-a-kind show features dynamic narration and illustrations from Chris Van Allsburg’s beloved classic book, The Polar Express, with accompanying, hopeful 4-hand piano interludes.

    The Fort Worth Stockyards is one of Texas’ most popular tourist destinations, featuring the world's only twice daily cattle drive and  more than a hundred new shopping, dining and entertainment venues.

    Fort Worth Museum of Science and History

    Take a musical journey through the solar system! As spectacular images of space wow us on the Omni Theater screen—the most advanced LED display of its kind—a narrator will lead us on our voyage. The stars and planets will swirl above as a piano, violin, and cello perform music that explores and celebrates the wonder of space.

    Dedicated to lifelong learning and anchored by rich collections, the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History engages a diverse community through creative, vibrant programs and exhibits interpreting science and the stories of Texas and the Southwest.
