Cliburn at the Kimbell

DFW's premier recital series

Since 1976, the Cliburn has brought hundreds of the best touring musicians of our time to North Texas. Among them, Renée Fleming, Yunchan Lim, Yo-Yo Ma, and Emanuel Ax, as well as Murray Perahia, Yuja Wang, Hilary Hahn, Joshua Bell, Joyce DiDonato, and many, many more. In 2014, Cliburn Concerts moved to its current home, the Kimbell Art Museum's newest architectural gem, the Renzo Piano Pavilion.

The 2026–2027 Season

This season Cliburn Concerts invites you to experience joy: the awe of seeing near superhuman virtuosity at the Kimbell Art Museum; a memorable evening spent with friends at Tannahill’s Music Hall; a weekend celebration at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth; blissful moments immersed in the sound of the orchestra at Bass Performance Hall. The 2026–2027 season opens with a celebration of America at 250 with an All-American Concerto Evening at Bass Hall featuring the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and Robert Spano joined by soloists Amaryn Olmeda, Joshua Roman, and Angel Stanislav Wang. Then join us for the triumphant returns of two Cliburn medalists, Yekwon Sunwoo (2017 gold) and Evren Ozel (2025 bronze); an intimate recital by one of the greatest pianists of our time, Daniil Trifonov; Cliburn Concerts debuts by rising stars, cellist Sterling Elliott and violinist Stella Chen; and an enchanting performance of French songs by 2026 GRAMMY® winning mezzo-soprano J’Nai Bridges. About Bass Performance Hall

For over 25 years, the Nancy Lee and Perry R. Bass Performances Hall has been a Fort Worth icon and nationally distinguished performing arts venue.

The 2,042-seat multipurpose Hall, designed by David M. Schwarz/Architectural Services, Inc. with acoustics by Jaffee, Holden Acoustics, Inc., is characteristic of the classic European opera house form. An 80-foot diameter Great Dome, artfully painted by Fort Worth artists Scott and Stuart Gentling, tops the Founders Concert Theater. Two 48-foot tall angels, sculpted from Texas limestone by Marton Varo, grace the Grand Facade. The angels have now become preeminent cultural icons in the North Texas area. The Hall is renowned for its superb acoustics, exceptional sight lines and ambience on level with the great halls of the world.

Bass Performance Hall has also served as home for the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition since 2001.
