“Growing up in a house where the walls danced from the sounds of two pianists practicing, fate has it that I am a violinist.” When she was 3 years old, Maria Ioudenitch’s pianist parents, Stanislav and Tatiana, handed her a tiny violin, and her love for music began.

The following year, she came to Fort Worth to witness her father’s dedication to his instrument come to fruition when Stanislav Ioudenitch took home gold in the 2001 Cliburn Competition. And she certainly has followed in his footsteps, recently winning several international violin competitions and securing a recording contract with Warner Classics. Keeping it all in the Cliburn Family, her first release with the label in March 2023, Songbird, was a collaboration with Kenny Broberg, 2017 Cliburn silver medalist and longtime student of Stanislav—one of the most sought-after teachers today, as well as an in-demand touring artist.

Don’t miss this truly family affair, as father and daughter unite for an intimate, casual concert at The Post.
