ABOUT CLIBURN KIDS
For our youngest Cliburn friends! Cliburn Kids is a collection of wonderfully entertaining programs designed to introduce children to the fun of classical music. How does music paint pictures, tell stories, express feelings? Cliburn Kids artists use individual pieces to explore topics that delve into the way music is organized and structured, counting and rhythm, expressive elements, and sometimes just lighthearted enjoyment!
ABOUT CORRIE DONOVAN
Soprano Corrie Donovan loves working with children through music and is excited to begin her eighth year with the Cliburn’s education programs. She was also the host for the first Cliburn Junior Competition in 2015 and teaches private voice through Northwest ISD.
Outside the classroom, Corrie enjoys a busy performance career, both in Texas and abroad; highlights include vocal workshops with Cirque du Soleil and a performance invitation from the former president of Mexico. Also an active musical arranger, she enjoys reimagining classical favorites and creating intimate concert experiences, taking her audiences on a journey to make meaningful connections with music.
