Screening Auditions

The Screening Auditions for the Seventeenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition took place March 16–22, 2025, at PepsiCo Recital Hall on the campus of TCU in Fort Worth, Texas USA. From a pool of 340 applicants representing 45 countries and regions, 77 pianists were chosen to audition live. From those, just 30 were selected to return to Fort Worth in May as competitors.

The Screening Jury

All members of the panel combine distinguished performance careers with a commitment to nurturing the next generation of artists. They were charged with selecting the 30 competitors from the pool of 77 pianists invited to the Screening Auditions.
