The Cliburn's newest concert series, launching September 14, 2024, features magical, musical experiences for the whole family at the Fort Worth Zoo, the Fort Worth Stockyards Station, and the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History’s Omni Theater.

Cliburn in the Classroom—the Cliburn's music education program and recipient of D CEO Magazine's 2024 Innovation in Education Award—presents 1,000 free, in-school, and interactive concert experiences for more than 200,000 area elementary students over a four-year cycle.

All tickets are now on sale for the seventeenth edition of the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, taking place May 21–June 7, 2025, at Van Cliburn Concert Hall at TCU and Bass Performance Hall, in Fort Worth, Texas, USA.

The medalists of the 2022 Cliburn Competition—Yunchan Lim, Anna Geniushene, and Dmytro Choni—announce new dates for their 2024–2025 performance tours, including recent and upcoming highlights.

Anna Geniushene plays TCHAIKOVSKY Piano Concerto No. 1 in B-flat Minor, op. 23 in the Final Round Concerto II with Marin Alsop at the 2022 Cliburn Competition.

Originally broadcast on Russian television, this live recording from 1972 features Van Cliburn performing Brahms' Variations and Fugue on a Theme by Handel, Op. 24 at the Great Hall of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory.

Dmytro Choni took home bronze at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in June 2022, only the second Ukrainian pianist to medal at the prestigious contest. He won hearts and accolades with a compelling and colorful musicality that is fortified by a genuine, immediately engaging stage presence. As one critic noted: “Each time he strode onstage, it was with winning confidence and a big smile. He’s clearly an accomplished, assured―and communicative—pro” (Dallas Morning News).

Anna Geniushene’s fresh, layered, and powerful interpretations defined her participation at the 2022 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition—and won her the coveted silver medal and the adoration of fans around the globe. And the critics couldn’t get enough: “powerhouse sound, forceful musical personality, and sheer virtuosity…had this critic on the edge of his seat” (Musical America); “a performance of rare devotion and insight” (Onstage NTX); “a fresh version…that had this listener hanging on every bar” (La Scena).

In June 2022, Yunchan Lim 임윤찬 became the youngest person ever to win gold at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition; his performances throughout showcased a “magical ability” and a “natural, instinctive quality” (La Scena) that astounded listeners around the world. As Jury Chair Marin Alsop expressed: “Yunchan is that rare artist who brings profound musicality and prodigious technique organically together.” The depth of his artistry and connection to listeners also secured him the Audience Award and Best Performance of a New Work.
