The celebration parade & and festival takes center stage on North Main Street, in the heart of the Historic Northside District of Fort Worth! Día de los Muertos Parade takes place 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Día de los Muertos Festival runs from 11:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Dance rhythms have always fascinated composers. J.S. Bach and his peers composed whole suites of music based on country dances. Chopin found inspiration in that realm and went into the countryside write his mazurkas. Ravel, Debussy, and Sibelius reframed the rhythms of dance through a more modern sensibility, and Stravinsky wrote music for dance his whole life!
