Join us as we celebrate with the 22nd Annual Dia de los Muertos en Fort Worth – Celebración de Vida, Arte y Cultura. The celebration parade & and festival takes center stage on North Main Street, in the heart of the Historic Northside District of Fort Worth! Día de los Muertos Parade takes place 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Día de los Muertos Festival runs from 11:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Dance rhythms have always fascinated composers. J.S. Bach and his peers composed whole suites of music based on country dances. Chopin found inspiration in that realm and went into the countryside write his mazurkas. Ravel, Debussy, and Sibelius reframed the rhythms of dance through a more modern sensibility, and Stravinsky wrote music for dance his whole life!

They're among the hottest young couples in the opera world. Australian soprano Nicole Car and Canadian baritone Étienne Dupuis have performed together on iconic stages in famous roles around the globe. Now they come for a special recital at the Kimbell Art Museum.

The Cliburn was founded in 1962, and has flourished since on the shoulders of a community of supporters—committed individuals, corporations, foundations, and arts, service, and educational organizations. The dedication of your time and resources fulfills the Cliburn’s mission of providing life-changing opportunities for young pianists, participatory music education for public elementary school children, and access to excellent art for lovers of music. In essence, continuing Van Cliburn’s vision of sharing classical music with the largest possible audience.

In this concert, 4 of 18 competitors will each perform a 40-minute recital.
