The Screening Auditions for the Seventeenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition will take place March 16–22, 2025, at PepsiCo Recital Hall at TCU in Fort Worth, Texas, USA. These recitals are free and open to the public.

Cliburn at the Kimbell

Jinhyung Park
Seoul native Jinhyung Park began studying piano at the age of 5 and made his recital debut 10 years later. After completing his bachelor’s degree in piano performance at Yonsei University under the tutelage of Ian Yungwook Yoo, he moved to Germany to study with Arie Vardi at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hannover.

New Cliburn Family Concerts Series Announced
The Cliburn's newest concert series, launching September 14, 2024, features magical, musical experiences for the whole family at the Fort Worth Zoo, the Fort Worth Stockyards Station, and the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History’s Omni Theater.

Adopt-A-Competitor
The Cliburn initiated Adopt-A-Competitor in 1997, in collaboration with Fort Worth ISD, to give children a direct link to the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. Competitors volunteered to present concerts to local elementary school students, answer questions, and take pictures. Students then tracked their competitor’s progress throughout the Competition. Since the program’s inception, North Texas kids have met and learned about 66 Cliburn competitors, including five medalists.
