Alexander Korsantia, jury member for the 2027 Cliburn International Competition for Young Pianists

They're among the hottest young couples in the opera world. Bolivian soprano Shelén Hughes Camacho and American baritone Joseph Parrish make their Cliburn Concerts debut at the Kimbell Art Museum.

The Brazilian-born pianist Arnaldo Cohen, now living in the United States, has long had a reputation for astonishing his audiences with the musical authority and blistering virtuosity of his performances. He has appeared regularly as soloist with major orchestras, such as the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Cleveland Orchestra and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. His solo recitals everywhere draw enthusiastic crowds of cognoscenti. Critics, too, marvel at his mixture of musical complexity and élan.

The Cliburn's newest concert series, launching September 14, 2024, features magical, musical experiences for the whole family at the Fort Worth Zoo, the Fort Worth Stockyards Station, and the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History’s Omni Theater.

In the spirit of the Halloween season, the Cliburn will present free Community Concerts featuring spooky sounds October 31 and November 2, 2024 in Fort Worth and Dallas.

In this concert, 3 of 6 competitors will each perform concertos with Marin Alsop and the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra.
