Venue

For the 2022 Competition, the Cliburn commissioned a large-scale mural—a first in its 63-year history—in Fort Worth’s vibrant Near Southside, as a lasting gift to the supportive citizens of its hometown. Created by Austin-based artist DAAS, "Chromesthesia" serves as a backdrop for concerts and other events, and was incorporated into the Official Artwork for the 2025 Cliburn Competition.
