Countdown to the Cliburn returns this year, inviting you for a taste of the artistry and excitement of the upcoming 2025 Cliburn Competition! Bring your friends and family for this free concert from a spectacular Cliburn laureate, 2013 Cliburn finalist Fei-Fei.
This year, Countdown to the Cliburn presents six concerts, free and open to all ages, across North Texas. Celebrate the joy and excitement of musicmaking with us as we get ready for the 2025 Cliburn Competition, taking place May 21–June 7.

2013 Cliburn finalist
Infusing “intoxicating grace” with “exceptional musicality” and “inconceivable virtuosity,” pianist Fei-Fei conjures a special and undeniable connectivity with her audiences that brings joy, passion, and deep musical understanding (Badische Neueste Nachrichten). Recent projects include her role as artist-in-residence with the Baden-Baden Philharmonic, a Carnegie Hall performance and European tour with the New York Youth Symphony, a cross-disciplinary collaboration with Ballet Arkansas, and a 19-city tour of China with her Aletheia Piano Trio.
