SEVENTEENTH VAN CLIBURN INTERNATIONAL PIANO COMPETITION

The Screening Auditions determine which pianists will compete in the Seventeenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. For one week in March, 77 pianists will arrive in Fort Worth to perform 25-minute recitals for a public audience and members of the Screening Jury. The screening jurors—comprised of five internationally recognized artists—will then select 30 to return in May for the 2025 Cliburn Competition.

PEPSICO RECITAL HALL AT TCU

The Screening Auditions will take place in the 325-seat PepsiCo Recital Hall at TCU. The Hall provides an intimate venue with staging ideally sized for chamber ensembles, solo recitals, and chamber opera, as well as enhancing the rapport between performers and audience.

 

THE SCREENING JURY

All members of the panel combine distinguished performance careers with a commitment to nurturing the next generation of artists. They will be charged with selecting the 30 competitors from the pool of 77 pianists invited to the Screening Auditions.
