Amir Siraj has performed at venues such as New York’s Carnegie Hall and Boston’s Symphony Hall. He made his concerto debut in 2012 with the Metrowest Symphony Orchestra, performing Beethoven’s Third Concerto, and most recently appeared with the Quincy Symphony Orchestra playing the Liszt’s First Concerto. He is the 2015 winner of the Ruth Davidson Competition, five-time winner of the Massachusetts Music Teachers Association Competition, and three-time prizewinner at the M. Steinert and Sons Competition. Also committed to new music, Amir has performed world premieres for Larry Bell and Stephen Feigenbaum, and U.S. premieres for Lera Auerbach. Currently studying with Helena Vesterman and at the New England Conservatory Preparatory School, he has taken master classes with Hung-Kuan Chen, Bruce Brubaker, and Wha-Kyung Byun. In addition to piano, he devotes his time to varsity men’s crew, choir, and Brookline High School’s Innovation Club, which he founded.
