Pamela Mia Paul, chairman of the Jury of the Eighth Cliburn International Amateur Piano Competition, for non-professional pianists age 35 and older (taking place October 12–18, 2022, at Van Cliburn Recital Hall and Bass Performance Hall), tonight announced the six pianists advancing to the Final Round.
The artists—who are also who are also a marketing director, a software engineer, a clinical project manager, a CEO, a retired neuro-opthalmologist, and a business development manager—will live out their dreams on Tuesday, October 18 beginning at 7:00 p.m. when they take the Bass Performance Hall stage and perform one movement of a concerto each with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and beloved conductor Miguel Harth-Bedoya.
