Website Visitors. We use cookies. A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. Unless you change your settings to disable cookies, the file is added and the cookie helps us analyze web traffic. Cookies also allow websites to respond to you as an individual. The website can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences. We also use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyze data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to our customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes. Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better website by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie does not give us access to your computer or any identifiable information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.
The aggregate, non-individually identifiable website traffic and use information, such as the number of hits (visits) per page and popular links and pages, is used by The Cliburn to help us consistently improve the value of our website to users. Clients, Donors and Other Customers. If, while visiting our website, you make a donation, order a product, register for an event, submit a question, or request other information, you will be asked to provide certain information such as name, address, zip code, phone number, and/or email address. In all cases, this information is submitted voluntarily. If you are making a donation or purchase, you may be transferred to one of our authorized payment processors and be asked for credit card information in order to complete your purchase. Similar information may be submitted to us on an order form or registration form. Customer and Donor Lists. Our customer and donor lists are not for sale. We do, however, share information with The Community Arts Alliance (TACA), which collects information from various arts organizations in order to support and publicize the local arts. Specifically, we share the names and mailing addresses of ticket buyers. To find out more about TACA, visit https://taca-arts.org/ and https://taca-arts.org/our-programs/service-programs/trg-artscommunity-network-north-texas/.
We hope that you share The Cliburn’s vision of increasing exposure to the local arts. By being a member of the TACA’s TRG Arts Community Network: North Texas, it allows us to cultivate potential new ticket buyers who love classical music as much as we do and who may be happy to make ticket purchases to Cliburn events. We hope that you will allow us to share your name and address as part of our membership in TACA’s TRG Arts Community Network. However, if you would prefer that we not share your information, you can opt-out of this program. To opt-out of our sharing program, please send an email to generalinformation@cliburn.org and state that you would like to opt-out of ticket buyer information sharing with TACA.
Please note that for ticket buyers with mailing addresses known to The Cliburn to be outside the United States, your information will not be shared as part of the TACA program.
When you visit our website or become a ticket buyer or donor, your name, mailing information or email address will not be sold to a commercial for-profit organization.
