The Cliburn is proud to announce the official artwork of the 2025 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. The signature design features “Chromesthesia” by internationally renowned, Texas-based muralist DAAS; the piece was originally commissioned for the Cliburn’s first-ever mural, painted in May 2022 at 113 South Main Street in Fort Worth’s vibrant Near Southside. The mural was a lasting gift to the city of Fort Worth and a celebration of the Cliburn’s 60th Anniversary.

Now the Cliburn is pleased to share the gorgeous piece with the world, prominently featuring it in all materials related to the Seventeenth Cliburn Competition, set to take place May 21–June 7, 2025, at Van Cliburn Concert Hall at TCU and Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, Texas, USA. Applications for the 2025 Cliburn Competition opened on October 16, 2023 and will close on October 16, 2024.
