FILIPPO TRESCA

AGE 41  I  BARLETTA, ITALY  I  ITALY
INTERNATIONAL TAX CONSULTANT

Filippo Tresca is a Certified Public Accountant specialized in International Taxation and Transfer Pricing, working for an important tax consulting firm based in Modena, Italy. He began studying piano at the age of 11 through private lessons from his cousin, a pianist and conservatory teacher in France. He then attended the Conservatory of Music in his native Bari for a few years, without ever obtaining a piano diploma for professional reasons. However, Filippo has participated in several masterclasses in Bari, Paris, Vienna and London, as well as performing at various music festivals, especially in France and Italy. Now with the same piano teacher for 17 years, his artistic goals—to continue studying music seriously and performing in public— remain strong, making the Cliburn Amateur one of his “leading goal.” He sees the deepening of philosophical themes as an important component in his development both as a person and amateur musician, and, as such, he is passionate about continuously expanding his understanding of compositions. Filippo also strives to be a strong example for his young daughter, wanting to show her “the importance of having goals in life and pursuing interests that can continue to both personal and spiritual growth.”
