The Van Cliburn Foundation has been awarded a $17,000 grant from Texas Women for the Arts! These funds will support our children's education programs for the Fourteenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition to be held May 24-June 9, 2013.
Junior League Fort Worth gives $25,000 and 32 volunteer placements for 2013 Competition
The Cliburn was honored to receive a $25,000 grant from The Junior League of Fort Worth, Inc.--our partner since 1963--to underwrite the Gift Shop for the Fourteenth Competition.
The Van Cliburn Foundation is honored to be one of 78 nonprofit organizations in the United States to be recommended for a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) in their 2012 Arts in Media grant cycle. The Cliburn is among the 25 percent recommended for funding from the 329 eligible applications.
First prize increased for Cliburn Competition
In honor of the Van Cliburn Foundation's 50th Anniversary, the Cliburn has increased the first prize amount for the Cliburn Competition to $50,000 and included a silver trophy to be named the Van Cliburn Winner's Cup.

JPMorgan Chase Foundation pledges its support for the Piano Lessons program, which provides free after-school piano lessons to 12 students for four consecutive years.
