Cliburn Winners

Priority Presenters

Priority_Presenter

The Cliburn is pleased to offer recital, festival, and orchestra presenters the early opportunity to engage a winner of the Fourteenth Cliburn Competition. All engagements are offered and accepted on an in-principle basis, providing priority presenters with a non-binding guarantee to engage a winner on a preferred date for a predetermined fee while allowing the Cliburn to list them in its Competition program book as an in-principle presenter.

Immediately after the Competition, priority presenters will be contacted to determine whether or not they plan to contract one or more of the winners. Final approval of artists, dates, and repertoire rests with the Foundation, the presenter, and the artist. It is understood that priority presenters are under no obligation to engage any Cliburn Competition winner should mutual agreement not be reached. Similarly, the Van Cliburn Foundation will make every effort to meet each presenter's request but cannot guarantee specific winners, dates, or repertoire until after the Competition has ended.

The Foundation also works directly with presenters who contact us after the Competition about engaging our winners even if an in-principle agreement does not exist. Signing up now gives you priority in engaging a winner with a preferred artist fee.
