The purpose of the group is to present classical music to our
generation in a new way. Established in 2009 by the Van Cliburn
Foundation for people in their 20s and 30s, Cliburn 180° offers
many fun social events and opportunities to stay engaged with the
arts community in Fort Worth. Cliburn 180° is building a momentum
of support that will work to sustain the Van Cliburn Foundation and
preserve the rich cultural tradition of Fort Worth.
Membership is open to anyone in their 20s and 30s who would like
to be involved with the Van Cliburn Foundation, has an interest in
the local arts, or just wants to meet new people and have fun! For

What is in the name/logo?
The Cliburn International Circle (CIC) is the bedrock of support
for the Foundation. We hope members of the 180° group will come
full circle when they graduate from the under-40 group to become
members of the CIC.
