Prizes and Awards

Prizes for the International Piano Competition for Outstanding Amateurs are awarded by the jury, which includes distinguished university music faculty and other notable industry professionals. A Press Jury consisting of the nation's foremost music critics gives the Press Jury Award.

The prizes awarded for the sixth International Piano Competition for Outstanding Amateurs™ in 2011 were:

Special Recognition Awards: Two competitors who do not advance to the Semifinal Round will receive a waiver of the application fee for the next Amateur Competition (2015), in addition to the cash prize.
